Trelingua Ghost Town.
Day 1 in Big Bend.
Rained the previous evening making for muddy gravel roads.
Me, suited up for more rain.
Pops and his ever ready TransAlp.
Creosote Bushes make good emergency stopping devices. This was after a very slick section of road that had me sliding back and forth across the road, ending up in the bush.
Slippery clay/gravel roads!
BMW cylinder heads make good anchor plows and stop the bike pretty darn good!
The big GS doesn't play very well in the mud! My first dump on the big rig! Dad was laughing so hard he almost fell off his bike!
This was the road that was so muddy, the rest of the roads in Big Bend were mostly rock so didn't have any more get offs.
With all the rain the area took in over the last week, everything was in bloom.
Big Bend ... big sky area, very beautiful place.
Old Ore Road in Big Bend.
Dad and me on Old Ore Road in Big Bend.
Mexico border crossing at Presidio Texas. Paperwork up the arse, and Mexcian officials stamping them tied us up for about an hour.
